The K9 color of the original AURIE-Q® is a red undercoat and orange cloth color that has proven to be highly effective in high-pressure situations, when targeting large squid, or at night. The addition of Neon Flash® has further improved its performance.

Brown coloring that blends in with algae and rocky areas and a “Neon Flash® Red Body” combine to create both natural and appealing effects. Effective in low light conditions and in situations where squid are hidden by obstacles. "Neon Flash® Red Body" that clearly shows the silhouette while emitting ultraviolet light. The added silhouette effect increases the ability to attract squid even in overcast conditions when UV rays are weak.
RDM
The red base and green cloth are the most popular colors at night for silhouette effect. Effective for squid that does not like luminescence because of its non-luminescent body.
RDPU
Silhouette-emphasizing color for night and day use. By eliminating the luminous function of the body, it is ideal for targeting inactive squid.
