| Needless to say, you need a rod and a
reel for fishing. Here, we will explain with tackle. |
Rod
For shore fishing, you need an
about 8-9ft spinning reel that allows casting
up to 22g.
For boat fishing, a soft bait rod of about 1.8ft
is the best. |
Reel
| For casting from shore, a medium
spinning reel and for boat fishing, a small
bait reel is fine. |
Line
For the main line, sensitive
PE line or stretchable nylon line is preferable.
In case of nylon line, tie about 12-14lbs. line
directly to the Egi.
→ HYBRID HYBRID
ULTRA SOFT |
In case of PE line, choose #1
or so and you need to connect shock leader
to the top of the PE line.
→ X-WIRE
PE line is sensitive with about three times strength of nylon line, which allows
fishing in thinner size and makes the PE the current major line. |
For the shock leader, use about
12-14lbs. fluorocarbon line.
→ H.D.CARBON
LEADER |
How to connect the main line and the shock leader.
→ SF knot
FG knot Double uni knot
Tie the Egi to the line.
→ Uni

Egi
Use various size of Egi depending
on target fish or locations. And try different
colors by the water colors and the weather.
Regarding Egi, we will explain on the next page. |
